Eric Stokes Eng

Eric Matthew Stokes Eng was born on January 6, 1992 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

After graduation from South High School in June 2010 he attended Hennepin County Community College for one year. He then worked six years for AT&T Mobility Services.

As a child he was filled with joyous mischief and a passion for performance and all things digital. In his adult life Eric was an endlessly kind, thoughtful young man with a sharp intelligence and unique wit. He was deeply loved by his family, friends and co-workers.

All too soon struggles with diabetes and alcohol caused Eric to be released from the cares of this world on April 24, 2021. We will miss his wit, humor, and above all, his laugh.

Left to mourn his passing are: his beloved sister, Laura Eng; his loving mother, Celeste Stokes; his father, Robert Eng; and a host of friends. We send his spirit out onto its next journey with love and peace.

In memory of Eric Matthew Stokes Eng donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association (https://www.diabetes.org/community/local-offices/minnesota)
