Corey Martin Edge
Passed April 22, 2026
Born November 15, 1977
Resided Rochester, MN

Corey went home with Jesus on April 22, 2026 at age 48. Corey was born in St Paul, MN to Daniel Lee Edge and Sherrie (Martin) Martin-Opsahl. He served in the U.S. Navy after high school. He attended and graduated from the LA Art Institute. He flew high on windmills, did property management, and construction.

Corey was a lover of anything outdoors. A creative artist. He was an avid bicycle rider and racer, loved kayaking, and was a terrific chef. He could light up any room.

Corey leaves behind and will be sadly missed by his mother, Sherrie; father, Daniel; two children, Ezra Edge and Maleah Edge; brothers, Ryan and Justin; sister, Rachel; aunts and uncles; and a lot of loving nieces and nephews, family and friends. He valued everyone dearly.

A celebration of life will be held this summer.

  1. I’m so very saddened by Corey’s passing. Corey was a good friend of mine, I wish we could have had more adventures together on the dragon boat and kayaking. He will be dearly missed.

  2. I had the pleasure of working with Corey at his last job. He was loud, witty, and incredibly passionate. He helped me whenever I needed it, even if he told me no first, haha! I knew what to expect from him and that’s exactly what I loved most.
Maleah, you were his absolute everything. There was never a moment that he walked into my office without telling me about you and all you have accomplished, or what your next cheer adventure was. The love he had for you was unmeasurable.
My heart goes out to you all. May he be sailing the seas forever more!

  3. He was a fantastic man ever since I started the job that he was grate. He trained me in and he joked around a lot. He was was a good man and talked about his family a lot and his children. Hope you rest in peace man. Even know that I didn’t know you that well, but I remember having a long drive with you to another building that we worked in together. Rest in peace, bro I also remember screwing around and found some perfume he thought but it was actually men cologne and he sprayed the heck out of me. Miss you bro
