Clyde Banks Jr., age 63, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at his home with family by his side.
Clyde was born on December 18, 1957 in Middletown, Ohio to Clyde and Ardis (Clickner) Banks Sr. He worked all over the United States as a machinist. He retired while living in Ohio and moved back to Stewartville in 2018.
Clyde was happiest when he was sitting on the lake fishing. He loved deer hunting and shooting pool. He worked hard and played hard.
Clyde is survived by his son, William Scnelle of Ohio; his siblings, Barbara Mann of Lake City, MN, Terry Helton of Racine, MN, Joanne Hensley of Lake City, MN, Mary Reyes of Stewartville, MN, Andy (Tracy) Hardy of Reeds Landing, MN, Myron (Jess) Hardy of Lake City, MN, Tammy (Darwin) Stull of Frenchburg, KY; and grandchildren, William, Jasmine and Katrina.
Clyde is preceded in death by his mother Ardis Ann Hardy and stepfather, James Lyle Hardy; and father, Clyde Banks Sr.
Celebration of Life will be held on May 1, 2021 in Lake City.

I now live across the street from where Mr. Banks resided in Stewartville, MN, also my daughter and her family had as well, and we are so very sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you all.
