  1. Carol, Polly and Jeff:
The first time I ever heard the term, “Good people” was when my Dad, on our drive home from Pepin, was talking about your folks. He was smiling from ear to ear and talking about what great people your Mom and Dad were. I’ll always remember how your Mom made sure that every kid had dessert before it was gone. She asked about school and genuinely listened when I answered. I can honestly say that I have no memory of her ever in a bad mood. Heaven won the lottery when she and your Dad passed. All of my love to you during this time.

  2. Carol and family,
I was sad to hear of your mother passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  3. Polly, Carol and Jeff,
What a great fun time we had down at Pepin and later up at the farm at your folks place. I’m saddened to learn of Ciel’s passing but glad that she is reunited with Jerry and Nina. May peace be with you as you learn to walk the earth without her.
