My heart goes out i believe this was my Great Uncle through my father who passed in November Jonathan.
Please reach out if any family ever would like to get in contact trying to know more about my DuBois side of the family my name is Lillian. May Carl rest in peace

Uncle Carl,
It is hard to put into words how much you meant to me and how much you will be missed. Your passing at only 66 years old leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved you.
I will always be grateful for what you did for me when I was a kid and going through a difficult time at home. When I was struggling and getting into trouble, you opened your home to me and welcomed me into your family. You didn’t have to do that, but you did. You gave me guidance, support, and a place where I felt cared for. You did your best to mentor me, steer me in the right direction, and help me become a better person. The kindness and patience you showed me during those years made a lasting impact on my life, and I will never forget it.
I will always cherish the memories of our family gatherings and holidays at Grandma’s house. Those times brought everyone together, and your presence always added laughter, stories, and a sense of family that made those holidays special. Looking back now, those memories mean more than ever.
I also remember how much you enjoyed old, cool cars. It was easy to see the passion you had for them, and that enthusiasm was something everyone around you could appreciate. Whether it was talking about them, working on them, or just admiring them, it was a part of who you were.
One memory that will always make me smile is watching you race in the Spectacular races at Fountain River Raceway. You drove with so much confidence that you would sometimes have one hand hanging out the window while racing. As a kid, I thought that was both hilarious and incredible. It perfectly captured who you were—fearless, confident, and full of personality. Those are memories I will cherish forever.
This has been an especially difficult time for the DuBois family. With Grandma passing recently this year, and now Uncle Carl, it feels like a deep chapter of our family history has closed. I know how hard this has been for all of us. Uncle Carl, as the last surviving uncle in the DuBois family, carried so many memories, stories, and connections to the generations before us. That makes his loss even more profound.
After JoAnn passed a few years ago, I know life was never quite the same. My heart also goes out to JoAnn’s children and family. You were an important part of their lives, and the love, support, and guidance you gave them over the years will not be forgotten. The family that you and JoAnn built together is part of the legacy you leave behind.
Thank you for believing in me when I needed it most. Thank you for sharing your home, your family, your wisdom, and your heart. The difference you made in my life can never be measured, and I will carry those lessons and memories with me forever.
Rest in peace, Uncle Carl. You were loved, you made a difference, and you will never be forgotten.
