Julia Ann (Rathbun) Harris, 62, of Stewartville, MN, passed away at home on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Julia was born on July 6, 1961 in Rochester to Cyril and Rosella Rathbun. She graduated from Chatfield High School in 1979. Julia was married to Dale (Holtegaard) and later divorced. Julia and Ron Harris were married in September, 2008 in Stewartville. During her working career, she worked at Textile Care, Mayo Clinic, Halcon, Casey’s and KwikTrip. She recently retired.
She always had a smile on her face, especially for her grandson, Hayden. Family get-togethers were especially happy times for Julia. She loved the potlucks, playing poker and board games with the family. Julia loved to garden, cook and was a HUGE MN Viking fan.
Julia is survived by her husband, Ron; son, Eric (Karen) Holtegaard of Garrisson; daughter, Tona (Dennis) Davison of Dodge Center; and grandson, Hayden Holtegaard of Kasson; siblings, Joan Lex of Spring Valley, Chuck (Audrey) Rathbun of Rochester, Steve (Vicki) Rathbun of Rochester, Cyrilla (Mike) Trende of Preston, Lester (Crystal) Smeby of Spokane, WA, Christine (Terry) Stackhouse of Spring Valley; sister-in-laws, Alita Rathbun of Elkton, SD, and Bridget Rathbun of Plainview; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Victor Eugene Riddle, Robert and Michael Rathbun; brother-in-law, Loren Lex; and nephews, Mitchell and Ozzy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2023 at 1:30 PM at the American Legion in Stewartville, MN. All are invited to wear MN Viking gear. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials.
Rochester Cremation Services are assisting the family.

Hi, my name is Ruth Ferris and I am s cousin to Julia. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but I also know that she is very happy now in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. She is also with her parents and brothers. She will be missed very much here on earth, because she had such a wonderful personality and outlook on life. She is looking down on all of you and saying I am fine, be happy for me, and I love you all too. Love you Julia.
Sorry for your loss Julia and Eric!!! Not knowing much about Julia. But you both will be missed!! I hardly ran into Eric but when we did we always talked and had good laughed!! I will MISS you!!!!
