William John Pogachnik, 74, died Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at his home.
William was born on April 15, 1950 to Wilfred John and Harriett June (EK) Pogachnik in Eveleth, MN. He graduated from Eveleth High School in 1968 and Hibbing Chef School in 1969. William married Deborah (Chilson) Kerr on July 1, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV. He was co-owner of Beer Bellyz Bar & Grill; Project Manager for 12 years and retired in 2010; and Rochester School Bus Driver for 8 years and retired in 2020.
William loved making flies and fly fishing, taking Madison to the dog park, watching his grandboys work at the Marina, going out on the weekend dancing with Deb, spending time with his grandkids, and taking care of yard work in the summer. He recently developed a love for Ham Radio and was a gun collector.
William is survived by his wife Deborah; children, Lindsay (Matthew) McCabe of Chatfield, MN, Kristin Pogachnik of Rochester, MN, Kristen (Steve) Lee of Rochester, MN, and Corey Kerr (Lindsay Valentino) of Rochester, MN; siblings, Jim (Cindy) Pogachnik of Mundelein, IL, Fred (Cindy) Pogachnik of Britt, MN, and Laura (Dale) Pionk of Eveleth, MN; 9 grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Madison.
William is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter-in-law, Kaysie Kerr.

Bill was a great man. My only regret is that I was unable to spend more time with him. Our prayers are with Deb and family. We love you all.
Bill was really nice , I will miss the times he would come to our house and stay for a few days. He had some good stories to share and he loved a good BBQ. The man will be missed by a lot of people. God bless and Rest in Peace Bill
