William Frank Osler, 72, died Monday, May 27, 2024 at his home.
William was born on January 12, 1952 to Wilber R. and Audrey Lois (Westfall) Osler in Sacramento, CA. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix. William married Faye Eileen Peterson on June 12, 1988 in Exira, IA and they had two children, Gus and Brenda. He worked at IBM and retired after 30 years. He was a member of Rochester Amateur Radio Club.
He enjoyed Amateur Radio, fishing, spending time with family, vacationing, traveling, genealogy, and storm spotting.
William is survived by his wife, Faye Eileen (Petersen) Osler; children, Gus Thomas Osler and Brenda Leticia Osler; and siblings, David Osler of Gilroy, CA and Kevin Osler of Longmont, CO.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; brothers, James and Michael; stepsister; aunts; and uncles.
Memorials may be donated to the Rochester Amateur Radio Club or Holt International.
A memorial service will be at 11am on Saturday, June 29 at Rochester Cremation Services, 1605 Civic Center Drive NW, Rochester. Chaplain Alex Mickouiza Ganga will officiate. Lunch will follow the service.
