Tim passed away on April 27,2023 in Rochester MN of natural causes. He was born Dec 16,1968 in Wausau, WI. He was 54 years old.
Tim went to grade school, middle school and 2 years of high school in Ashwaubenon, WI, and finished his last 2 years at Riverdale Baptist High School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He later moved to Austin MN and graduated with an Associate of Science degree from Riverland Community College in Austin MN. After graduation from Riverland he went on to work as a System Administrator at the Hormel Institute in Austin. After leaving there he worked in Rochester MN at Menards full time.
He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and went to numerous games while living in Ashwaubenon. His love for dogs was shown by owning many in his lifetime starting in Austin. Many of them were rescues. He also loved to go camping and would pack up his camper and go for long weekends with the dog(s). He and his older brother loved listening to Olde Time Radio shows.
Tim was married to Oksana in Oct 2010 and later divorced in May of 2020.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ella and Ernest Nagel; Rhoda and Orville Lastine.
He is survived by his parents Gaylen & Phyllis Lastine and siblings, Bryce (Dolly) Lastine, Cathy (Gary) Johnson, Scott (Jean) Lastine and niece and nephews – Kristofor Lastine (Kelly), Katie (Adam) Bremseth, Erik Lastine (Ramona), Brian (Britney) Johnson, Brad Johnson (Heather), and Peter Lastine. Great nieces Sofie, Alivia, Alizabeth, Allie and great nephews Alex and Sullivan, as well as a number of cousins.
A funeral service will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Austin, MN at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 am prior to the service at the church. Lunch will be served. Pastor Dan to officiate.
A burial service will be held at Six Mile Grove in Lyle MN following the lunch.
