Steven “Hutch” John Hutchinson, 71, died Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, surrounded by family.
Steven was born on July 14, 1954 in Austin, MN to Gerald and Mary (Hynes) Hutchinson. Hutch owned a drywall business.
Hutch enjoyed fishing, watching Minnesota sports, westerns, and the History Channel
Hutch is survived by his siblings, Joyce (Gary) Threinen, Albert, Jerry (Marcia), David (Carol), and Rich (Annette); many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews, and cousins; and countless friends.
Hutch was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Linda.
The family would like to thank Field Crest Care Center and Mayo Hospice for their compassionate and exceptional care of Hutch.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-4pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Rochester Cremation Services,1605 Civic Center Drive NW, Rochester.
