Steven Donald Gruhlke, 76, died Thursday, May 16, 2024, at home surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Steven was born on July 24, 1947 to Donald and Willa Gruhlke. He graduated from Mazeppa High School by the hair of his chinny chin-chin. He liked to give his teachers a run for their money. Steve married and later divorced Lois Ann Lane. He was a farmer for 30+ years. His work ethic was like no other.
Steve enjoyed horseback riding, his family, his grandkids, his dogs, golf cart rides, sharing tall tales, a cold Budweiser and a good laugh.
Steven is survived by his children, Shawn Gruhlke of Mazeppa, MN, Shannon Gruhlke of Lake City, MN and Junior (Missy) Gruhlke of Mazeppa, MN; his grandchildren; Cody Gruhlke, Ashton Gruhlke, Alec Gruhlke, Landon Gruhlke, Grace Gruhlke, Talan Gruhlke and great grand-daughter Kami Gruhlke and his sisters Suzanne (Jim) Greenleaf, Jill Liemer, Shelly Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 27, 2024 on the Gruhlke Farm.
