  1. Sabine was a wonderful and talented young woman who will be missed. I can still here her saying my name in the way she use to say it as well as typically phrases that we used. my thoughts and prayers are with you now.

  2. I am so sorry for your loss. May you and the children find strength in God’s words.

  3. I’ve never done this before. I haven’t felt compelled to for anyone I’ve known a lot longer than I knew Sabine. I knew her through the collaborative website HitRECord, where she was more than beloved by everyone. During a Secret Santa project in 2019, I was given her name to create something for. I read through everything she wrote and posted on the site, then took various lines from everything I could and “quilted” them back together to create something new but familiar. I noticed a few things through that project. She is a strong architect of words and sentiment. She was a master at the art of noticing, even the most subtle, the most intricate of this world, and expanded it into something majestic and rich and fascinating, which is how she treated everyone. Uplifting them, constantly, ruthlessly, with sweet abandon. And I noticed she loved nature, so much. It’s in everything she seems to touch, this pervasive feeling of one-ness, of ethereal majesty, and captivating approachability. The mystique of overwhelming kindness. I was lucky to draw her name that Christmas. That was our only interaction. But I got to know her through those weeks of combing through every word. Words have power. Hers unknowingly conquered my soul. And I’m the better for it. Thank you for reading this. I’ll leave you with her words that bookended that secret santa project, as they brought me some comfort, so I hope they can do the same for you: “Within the rings of the sequoia tree, she heard the whispers of the galaxy.”

  4. What a beautiful life and legacy she left…. God called her home was way too soon.

  5. Rest in peace Sabine. From France with love,

    PaulineSLF, your forever HitRecord friend
