Robert “Bob” Noble Jr.

Robert (Bob) Noble Jr, 74 of Rochester passed away on August 2, 2024 at Seasons Hospice Weatherhill Location from complications of Agent Orange and other health issues.

Robert was born on November 8, 1949 in Austin Mn to Robert Noble Sr and Bessie (Cottrell) Noble.

Bob attended school in Austin and graduated in 1968.  Bob joined the Navy right after graduation and served his country from 1968-1972.  He was a very proud veteran and loved to talk about his service in the Navy.

On May 15th, 1982, Bob married Loujean Putnam in Rochester and they have one son, Andrew Noble.

Bob worked on the Alaska Pipeline for two seasons and then worked for IBM until he retired in 2004 after 28 years.  He then worked in building maintenance for 10 years at 5 Oaks Condominiums.

He loved talking with friends on the phone about hunting and when fall came he hunted Geese around the Rochester area with many of his family and friends.  When the weather was nice he loved to fish at Willow Creek reservoir.  As a family we had many special times together and we have many great memories of Bob.

Bob is survived by his wife Loujean, their son Andrew, sister Linda Bumgarner, brother Tom (Cindy) Noble and baby sister Lisa Primavera.

Bob was a member of the Eagles Club for many years and was a proud member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.  Bob will be laid to rest at the Preston Veteran’s cemetery on Thursday, August 22 and there will be a Celebration of Life at the Eagles Club in Rochester from 4-7 on Friday the 23rd. If you would like please wear your Minnesota Twins or camouflage clothing to the celebration of life.

Our family would like to thank the wonderful people of Seasons Hospice, and also the wonderful care that Bob received from the many nurses Bob had during his final days.
