Randy Dahlman was born February 3, 1960 at Meeker County Memorial Hospital. His mother and father, Lawrence and Violet (Olson) Dahlman looked at each other and said, let’s look out for this one. Randy grew up on a small farm south of Dassel, MN where he was able to play, hunt, and fish, but what Randy really loved was farming with his dad.
Randy graduated from Dassel-Cokato High School in 1978 and entered the U.S. Army. He served his time and moved to Waseca, MN. He lived in Waseca for 5 years before going to work for a carnival. He worked from 1987-1992 with Jack Thompson Shows. Randy moved to Rochester, MN in 1994 where he lived out his remaining years. Randy had lots of hobbies: woodworking, gardening, hunting, and fishing.
Randy met Kay Ingalls in 1999 and they were married October 7, 2000 at Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester.
Randy worked for Rochester City and Olmsted County for 5 years. Randy was diagnosed with cancer in February 2022. Randy died November 15, 2023 peacefully at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Dahlman; daughter, Amber Dahlman; stepdaughter, Natalie (Bill) Morre; grandchildren, Jackson Moore and Riverly Moore; sister, Laurie (Keith) Meade; and brother, Richard Dahlman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Violet Dahlman; and sister, Jeanette.
Celebration of Life will be from 1-3pm at Harvest Church, 3342 19th Street NW, Rochester on Saturday, November 18, 2023 with Pastor Brian Saylor officiating.

Randy my dear dear friend,
I was so sad when I found out you were initially sick as I knew what that eventually would mean, pain for you and Kay, and eventually a loss to all. Although I am sad you left us, I am happy you are no longer in pain by going home. You made me a better person and I love you my friend. Lisa. PS. I don’t have a Keith shuffle.
