Marilyn Yvonne (Mengelkoch) Eischen, 84, died Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her home with her son by her side.
Marilyn was born on October 31, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN to Martin and Gladys (Jensen) Mengelkoch. She graduated from Wayzata High School. She married James Eischen in 1970 in Mankato, MN. Over the years she lived in Minneapolis, Plymouth, Mankato, and Rochester. She was an office manager at Mayo Clinic for 21 years and retired in 2001.
Marilyn enjoyed reading, gardening, walking, and socializing with friends and family. She was a member of St. Francis Church.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Matthew Eischen of Rochester; siblings, Dave and Elisabeth Peterson, Marcia McDermaid, Greg and Rebecca Mengelkoch; and 4 grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Eischen; and daughter, Carolyn Eischen.
Marilyn will be buried at Calvary Cemetery.
