Lois Amber Nolte, 89, died on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin, MN.
Lois was born on April 20, 1933 in Rochester, MN to William and Gertrude (Bushman) Bufton. Lois married Orlen Nolte on July 25, 1952 and they had 4 children. She was a house wife and neighborhood day care to many kids.
Lois loved to cook, especially homemade bread. She was known for her huge cinnamon rolls. She loved flowers and taking care of her lawn.
Lois is survived by her children, Karen (Terry) Goldsmith, Jeffrey Nolte, Brian (Theresa) Nolte, and Kimberly (John) Guettinger; grandchildren, Jessica (Scott) Morgan, Jared (Jeshila) Nolte, Mendela (Erik) Paulson, McKenna Guettinger; great grandchildren, McKayla, Taylor, and Carter Morgan; Cashton, Brystyn, and Crue Nolte.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Orlen; brother, David; sisters, Phylis, Willma, Betty; and daughter-in-law, Karen Nolte.

Lois was amazing babysit when I was younger. I remember her tell me stories how I would sleep in the dresser drawer! Getting older I would remember her baking..and driving by the house with her beautiful flowers. My deepest sympathy to you all! She was well loved by many! Prayers to all.
