Karen Allen (Long) of Rochester, Minnesota passed away on December 9th in her home she shared with her daughter and grandson. Memorial Service will be in spring of 2021.
Karen was born in Rochester, MN to James and Patricia Long (Daly) on April 19, 1965. She was a graduate of Mayo High School and worked as a supervisor for the MN Department of Transportation until her retirement. Karen was warm- hearted, taking in lost souls and stray animals. She always rooted for the underdog – probably why she remained a die-hard Vikings fan until the very end. Karen will be remembered for her sense of humor and sensitivity. She was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
Her father, James Long, precedes her in death.
Karen is survived by her daughter Ariana Allen and her grandson, Jayden Celius; her brothers Jefferson Long (Kaia), Craig Long; sister Ann Long (Michael Khan); her mother, Patricia Long (Daly); and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
Memorials may be given to Karen Allen Memorial GoFundMe to help with burial and living expenses for her daughter and grandson.
