John August Goetz passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on July 26, 2024; he was 84.
John graduated from Rochester Highschool in 1957. He later attended Rochester Junior College, then served in the U.S. Army. John lived in Rochester most of his life and worked as a Quality/Regulatory Manager at Water’s Instruments for 36 years. He married Anita Briske in 1993.
In his own words, John was – A Jack of all trades and master of none. He loved selling on eBay, watching all sports and spending time with his Grandson, River.
John is survived by his wife Anita, daughter and son-in-law Ryan and Stacy Mikkelson Dolan, and his grandson River Fallon Dolan.
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. I have a lot of softball memories of John and Anita. God bless!
