John Gordon Crowson, age 68, of Stewartville, MN passed away January 23, 2021 surrounded by his family at St. Marys Hospital.
John was born April 28, 1952 in Lake City, MN to Gordon and Helen (Sylvester) Crowson. John graduated from John Marshal High School in 1971. In 1981 John Married Jill (Vrieze) Crowson.
John was an avid golfer and hunter. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
John is survived by his wife Jill Crowson; 2 daughters, Amy Crowson of Chatfield, MN, and Amber Crowson of Stewartville, MN; 3 sons, John (Kirsten) Crowson Jr. of Rapid City, SD, Jason (Heather) Crowson of Rapid City, SD and Dan (Jessica) Crowson of Chatfield, MN; and 7 grandchildren Jacob, Isaac, Nevaeh, Tayler, Landon, Cayden and Aubrey. John is also survived by his father, Gordon Crowson; and 2 sisters, Susan and Joleen.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Helen (Sylvester) Crowson; 2 sisters Donna Harter and Anna Crowson; and 2 brothers, Tom and Bill Crowson.
Due to Covid 19 a celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
The Crowson family would like to thank the AMAZING Mayo Clinic hospice staff for their kindness and going the extra mile to make John feel comfortable in his last few days.

I worked with John overnight as a custodian at Mayo. He was always helpful and kind. We golfed together a couple times. I always enjoyed his company. I’m very sorry for your loss.
