Janet Lou Deseth, age 89, died Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Madonna Towers of Rochester.
Janet was born on July 10, 1932 in Devils Lake, ND to Carl and Mabel (Sigvaldson) Homme. She attended UND for 2 years. She married Leland Deseth in 1952. They had four children, Sherry, Bryan, Toni and Dana.
Janet was an avid reader, loved watching UND hockey and NDSU football, doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku, watching movies, and spending time with family.
Janet is survived by her children, Sherry (Ken) Mickels of Fargo, ND, Bryan Deseth of Rochester, MN, Toni Bakken of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Ashley (Jeff) Grossbach, Brett (Amanda) Bakken, Brittany (Paul) Ginder; and 6 great grandchildren.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland; son, Dana; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Rochester Cremation Services, 1605 Civic Center Drive NW, Rochester, MN.
