Gwen Bilderback

 

Gwen Denise Bilderback passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on March 25th, 2025.

She was born on January 19th, 1957 to Charles and Diane (Piercefield) Bilderback in Wabasha. She grew up in Kenyon and attended Kenyon-Wanamingo Schools. She took part in various jobs including painting bridges, home daycare, Midwest Importers, Human Resources and Health Care. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, canning, thrifting and always made time for entertaining her friends and family. She was also known as an excellent decorator, some even called her the “Minnesota Martha Stewart.” Her favorite place to be was somewhere tropical with white sandy beaches. She really enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow.

She is survived by her husband Al Alger. Daughters Randi (Donald) Cloud. Jessie (Jody) Stock, Cassie (Rob) Robinson. Grandchildren Kendra (Zach) Aebly, Felix (Alexis) Agyeman, Ethan (Megan) Schultz, Jordan Stock, Ryanna and Ally Alms, Desiree (John) Menken, Morgan Robinson. Great grandchildren Violet & Hattie, Jayce and Josiah. Siblings Kim Bien (Wyatt), Thomas Bilderback and Roxanne (Cris) Powers.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Diane and her siblings Michael, Christine and Leif.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2nd St. Pub, 219 N. 2nd St, Goodhue MN 55027 from 2pm-5pm on April 5th, 2025.

  3. When we were younger we both had ALOT of fun.. She made the best Tuna fish and toast sandwiches. She was a great person. She will be missed. Always friends..!

    Fond memories of the family at the campgrounds. Great times at the campgrounds! She always had a plan and FUN. You touched our hearts at the Johnson RV Park!
