Dorothy Clara VanDenBerg of Rochester died peacefully on July 28, 2020 at Season Hospice House in Rochester.
She was born July 29, 1925, in Hinsdale, Illinois, the daughter of Neal Owens and Clara (nee Zarn) Owens (later Saunders). Dorothy is survived by two sons, Kim (Bob) of Plymouth, Minnesota, and Jeffrey (Janice) of Mesa, Arizona, and one daughter Susan (David) Graddy of Rochester. Dorothy is also survived by two granddaughters, Savannah VanDenBerg and Lydia Graddy, and great-grandchildren Eden and Emerson. Dorothy was preceded in death by her former husband John, a daughter Nancy, and a grandson Noah.
Dorothy has chosen to donate her brain to Mayo Clinic for Alzheimer and Aging research. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
