Dennis Michael Johnson August 4, 1957 – March 13, 2024
Dennis Michael Johnson (Denny) was born August 4, 1957, to Dale Sr. and Adeline Johnson (Heinrich) of Tracy, MN. He grew up and graduated from Tracy High School. After graduating Denny worked in many areas of the construction industry, primarily road construction with McLaughlin and Schultz. He married the love of his life, Joan Weedman (Mielke) on April 13, 1996 after already sharing many years together.
Denny died on March 13, 2024 at Sanford USD Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Joan of Tracy, stepdaughters Shannon Sammons of Tracy, Michelle Marotzke (Tom) of Vesta, brother Dale Jr (Gwen) of Tracy, step grandchildren Ashley Weedman (Bobby) of Tracy, Miranda Sammons of Canby, Steven Marotzke of Marshall, Matthew Marotzke, Nickolas Marotzke and Jayson Marotzke all of Vesta, 8 step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Dale Sr. and Adeline Johnson, parents in law Elmer and Neva Mielke, brothers in law David Mielke and James Sabinske.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 6, 2024 at The Caboose in Tracy, MN from 1pm-4pm.
