Deanna Leah Nelson, age 60, died Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Samaritan Bethany Home on Eighth.
Deanna was born on October 31, 1961 in Rochester, MN to Dennis and Dorothy (Broten) Nelson. She graduated Mayo High School. She worked in housekeeping in various Rochester hotels.
Deanna loved collecting M&M dispensers, fishing, puzzles, being outside, planting and gardening, and watching cartoons, old time movies and westerns.
Deanna is survived by her daughter, Toni Mohamed of AZ; siblings, Denise Morris of Rochester, MN, Dennis “Butch” Nelson of Rochester, MN, David “Monkey” Nelson of Rochester, MN, Doreen Nelson of Grand Meadow, MN, Darcy Leone of Rochester, MN; life partner, Bob Hicks; and 6 grandchildren.
Deanna is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Dorothy Nelson; and son, Shawn Nelson.

A celebration of life will be held from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Rochester Cremation Services, 1605 Civic Center Drive NW, Rochester, MN.
