Direct Cremation

The simplest and often the most cost-effective, a direct cremation can be done without a service or before a memorial service or celebration of life. It includes local removal of remains, transportation to crematory, and other basic services. No on-site ceremonies are included. You receive the remains and are free to plan and hold your own services, if any, where you wish.

Ceremonies and Cremation

A common misconception is that a cremation disallows other aspects of a traditional funeral. This is not true. All the parts of a beautiful and meaningful ceremony can still occur, from a viewing and wake to a graveside service. Rochester Cremation Services has the staff and resources to hold these at our facility, or we can help you hold a ceremony where you like. However you want to say goodbye—that’s what we’ll do.
