Christopher Ryan Coles

Forever in our Hearts

Christopher Ryan Coles, aged 37, of Prior Lake, MN, passed away on September 6, 2024.  He was born in Merced, CA in 1987 to Christopher T. Coles and Kari L. Garrison.  He grew up in both Minnesota and California, before graduating from Highschool in Merced, CA.  Another significant graduation in Chris’s life was from Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis, MN in August 2023, prior to going to work at Polka Dot Dairy in Hastings, MN.  Chris was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, Grandson, Friend, and Father.  He was the most patient and kind person, and was such a joy to be around.  He had the most infectious smile that could light up any room that he walked into.  He was so loved and cherished by so many, and it was a privilege to know him.  Before his death, he was on a journey of faith and found the light within himself—which in turn, allowed him to become a beacon of light and hope for others.  Chris was also the most loving and proud father to his eight-year-old daughter, Aubrielle.  They were inseparable, like two peas in a pod, and they absolutely adored each other.

Chris was preceded in death by his step-father, Alan “Joe” Garrison; his maternal grandparents, Byron and Marlene Grove, and his paternal grandfather, Leon Coles.  He is survived by his daughter, Aubrielle Coles; Aubrielle’s mother, Zoe Condra; his mother, Kari Garrison; his father, Christoper T. Coles; his grandmother, Merlene Coles; his siblings, Ashley Moshier, Brett Coles, and Emily Coleman; his step-siblings, Christine Garrison, Cindy Garrison Pavek and brother-in-law, Pete Pavek, and Anna Garrison; his Uncle Randy Grove and Aunt Kim Blank, Aunt Donna and Uncle Van Lewis, Uncle Michael and Aunt Brenda Coles, and Uncle Sheldon Coles; his cousins, Patrick Hairston, Larry Jackson, Cameron Coles, Sean Coles, Jason Grove, and Brittany Grove; his nine nieces and nephews, and many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die”
