On January 31, 1933 a wonderful miracle happened. Our mother Cecelia Mae Prebe was born to Francis and Emelia Prebe.
No one could possibly know the impact this wonderful woman would have on so many lives.
Our mother was the heart and soul of our family. She always brought a smile to your face.
Sadly on September 14, 2023 our mother, Cecelia Mae Kautz passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Cecelia left behind her husband (Jack Kautz), her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, sisters and brother.
At our mother’s request, no memorial service will be held at this time.
There will be a celebration of life for her on September 11, 2024 at Indian Head Mountain, Colorado.
REST IN PEACE
WE LOVE YOU MOM
I miss you and I love you Grandma.
Still thinking a lot about you grandma. Especially the time I was giving your daughter Lisa a lot of trouble and grief at Fiesta Foods when I was maybe 5 or so and how you pulled me out of the cart and took me home and told her to pick me up when you she was done. I don’t remember much of what happened after that, in fact all I remember is a hand grabbing me but I do also remember you were the one to put me in check every time I stepped out of line without resorting to abuse. Sometimes I wish now that I took those moments a lot more seriously and remembered them as an adult because then maybe I would’ve turned out to be a little bit more successful and lot less hot headed. Again, I love you and I miss you and if there is an afterlife, I hope to give you and grandpa Jack a huge hug and accept one last butt whoopin before starting off the new eternity. I know i deserve one last one.
