Carol J. Tilford

Carol J. Olson Tilford was born December 12, 1941 in Owatonna, MN to Adelyn Nancy Luther Olson and Norman Ansel Olson and fell asleep in death on November 3, 2023.  Carol was one of 6 children in her family.  She was married to William C. Tilford on July 1, 1961 and they raised 3 children and have 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Carol lived in the Rochester, MN  and worked in the service industry most of her life.

Carol was known to her friends and family to have a quick wit, a great sense of humor, and loved to have fun.  She loved to go fishing, cook for others and have a fun game of cards whenever possible.  You always had to be ready to laugh when you were around her.

Carol was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on March 18, 2006.  She loved Jehovah and spent a lot of time serving Him to the best of her ability with her many sisters and brothers at the Rochester Kingdom Hall.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers – Everett, Charles, Jimmy, and Robert. She is survived by sister Donna, her sons – Michael (Leanne) of St. Anthony ID, William (Jennifer) of Pine Island, MN , and daughter Barbara (Blaine) Marty of Red Wing, MN. and grandchildren Justin, Lacey, Gabbie, Gavin, Cali, Jessica, and Nicole and great grandchildren Caleb, Cody, Katelyn, Avery, Taylor, Audrey, and Josie and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

There will be a memorial service held on November 18, 2023 at 2pm at the Rochester, MN Kingdom Hall, 921 W. Frontage Rd SW, Rochester, MN.  A reception will follow immediately at the Kingdom Hall.
