Barbara Jean (Lee) Wolff, age 69, died Thursday, August 13, 2020, surrounded by family at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
Barbara was born on March 2, 1951 in Minneapolis, MN to Andres and Ethel (Betzold) Lee. She lived in Owatonna, MN and previously lived in Hayfield, MN and Blooming Prairie, MN. She was very involved with the Steele County Humane Society for many years and fostered many dogs and cats over the years. She loved to read and completed several cross-stitch and hardanger projects. She was also an avid gardener and loved spending hours digging in the soil and helping her garden grow.
Barbara is survived by her children, Robert Wolff of Key West, FL, Michelle Johnson of Owatonna, MN, Gretchen Batzel of Mantorville, MN, Jason Wolff of Twin Cities, MN, Michael Wolff of Owatonna, MN; her brother, Larry Lee; and 9 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Ethel.
There will be a family organized private memorial at a later date.
The family asks to please make memorial donations to the Humane Society of Steele County.
