Doreen Nelson

Doreen Esther Nelson, age 55, died Tuesday, October 11th,2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital after battling Cancer for 9 long years.

Doreen was born February 1st,1967 in Rochester, MN to Dennis and Dorothy (Broten) Nelson. She lived in Pine Island at a very young age and then moved to Rochester and lived in Rochester most of her life. For the past 20 years, she lived in Grand Meadow, MN where she loved living free and away from the City.

Doreen loved porcelain dolls, collecting anything that was not hers, her 3 dogs Cheetah, Wally, and Tippers, her cats, living in the country, loved drama, dumpster diving, and Halloween.

Doreen is survived by her two daughters Jamie Bunnell of St. Charles MN, and Danielle Hall Pietrzak of Rochester MN, two sons Dana Pietrzak of Rochester MN, and Jason Pietrzak of Stewartville MN; siblings Denise Morris, Dennis “Butch” Nelson, David “Monkey” Nelson, Darcy Leone all of them from Rochester MN; Husband Tony Cesar Andrade, 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Doreen is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Dorothy Nelson, sister Deanna Nelson, her grandson Arian Hall and her best friend Wally Bustad.
