Heidi K. Berge, 55, of Caledonia, MN, died on May. 14, 2022 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, after complications following a surgical procedure.
Heidi Berge was born September 25, 1966, to Hilaine (Berge) Gilbeck and was raised primarily by her grandparents Hilma and Clarence Berge in Rushford, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Highland Prairie Lutheran Church and graduated from Rushford High School in 1984, where she enjoyed music and sports. After High School, Heidi worked and lived around Rushford and Caledonia. She loved children, her cat (Gracie), spending time with her beloved great uncle and aunt Walter and Gladys Howe and practicing her faith.
Heidi is survived by her brother Jon (Loretta) Gilbeck; niece Elsa Gilbeck; nephew Owen Gilbeck and numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Hilaine (Berge) Gilbeck, from Coon Valley, WI; and grandma and grandpa Hilma and Clarence Berge.
A special thanks to the staffs at Mayo Clinic in LaCrosse and Rochester, for their personal touch and professionalism. Their support over the weeks of care, brought great serenity to Heidi and family.
