Wayne Leon Walterman, age 53, of Elgin passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021.
Wayne was born on June 9, 1968 in Jackson, MN to Leon and Nina (Chesley) Walterman. He attended school in Jackson, MN and graduated in 1986.
He moved to Plainview, MN in 1988. Wayne worked at various jobs until starting at Lakeside Foods 17 years ago.
On April 4, 2015 he married Pam Dux Klindworth and lived in Elgin, MN.
Wayne enjoyed spending time in nature fishing and hunting for mushrooms, he also enjoyed long motorcycle rides. He very much enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandsons.
He will be missed greatly, Wayne is survived by his wife, Pam; his son, Brady (Breeze) and grandsons Vincent and Jaxson; his son, Tyler (Tracy); his mother, Nina Chesley Walterman; brothers, Bob Blom of Madison SD, George (Jodi) of Jackson, MN; sisters, Norma (Dennis) Bateman of Plainview, MN, Lee Ann (Jeff) Tweedt of Jackson, MN; and many nephews and nieces.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Leon Walterman; brother, Henry Walterman; sister, Patty Blom; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Service will be held on July 17, 2021 at 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life to follow. The Service will be held at his sister Norma’s home at 230 1st Ave NW, Plainview, MN 55964.
Burial Services will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Jackson MN on July 24, 2021 at 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life to follow.
