Carolyn “Carol” Diane (Evjen) Dore, 79, died on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at her home.
Carol was born on June 13, 1946 to Howard and Opal (Hyland) Evjen in Austin, MN. Carol graduated from Hayfield High School. Carol worked in Real Estate and Travel Manager. Carol married Dennis Dore on December 5, 1971 at Christ the Victor Church in California.
Carol loved to travel, paint, do crafts, decorate, play cards, Mexican food, go to the casino, and spend time with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughter, Michelle (Dore) and husband Ryan Dearing; grandchildren, Matt (Mollie) and Christopher (Alissa); and great grandchildren, Logan, Lillie, and Henry; and siblings, Les (Donna) Evjen of Rapid City, SD, Pam (Joe) Nolan of Plymouth, MN, and Ron (Mopuana) Evjen of Hayfield, MN.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Opal Evjen; sisters, Shirley Catron and Bonnie Baxter; brother, Virgil Evjen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
