Marilyn Joyce (Olsen) Lundeen, 76, died Friday, September 20, 2024 at Methodist Hospital.
Marilyn was born on September 15, 1948 to Robert and Bernice (Farquhar) Olsen in Minneapolis, MN. She attended Lewiston High School. She married Lance Lundeen on September 24, 1966 at Lutheran Church in St. Charles, MN. She was a homemaker and farmers wife.
Marilyn loved the outdoors, camping, being with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren. She always loved taking care of her grandchildren, and hosting family Christmas and Thanksgiving parties. She especially loved her deer hunting family and the many conversations and deer stories around the table filled with many homemade treats that were brought by the hunters. In her later years, she and her husband would travel the country in their camper with their 2 pups, and always traveling the backroads of Wisconsin.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Lance; children, Lorne Lance Lundeen, Lisa Lee Lundeen, her foster children, nephew Rick Milene, grandson Darin Thomas Lundeen; sister, Yvonne Pavlich; and her beloved grandchildren, Jacinda Lundeen, Quentin Lundeen, and Aletheia Lundeen.

No funeral is being planned per Marilyn’s wishes. A celebration of life may be held at a later time and date.
She will be missed Dearly by all who knew her….So sorry for the Families untimely loss..
It was my honor and pleasure to know Marilyn for the past 5 years. She was full of love for her family and was a most welcoming person. The time we spent together was filled with laughter and fun, mostly sharing funny stories about the men in our lives and the crazy things they did!! She was a loving friend and I will miss her dearly. My love and thoughts go out to Lance and the rest of her family and friends! Rest in peace my sweet friend!
Marilyn was one of the many people I looked forward to seeing everytime I participated at deer camp. I am glad I had the chance to speak with her within the last year or so. It was unfortunate that last time we spoke it was not at deer camp. I will miss the conversations about the hunters, food, & past events from previous time we spoke. Which was normally November. To all that shared her joyfulness. My condolences.
