Dorothy Mae Weber, 88, of Austin passed away on April 3rd, 2024. She was born on October 12th, 1935 to her parents Jesse and Bertha Gaul and had 4 older brothers. She married her husband Jerome (Jerry) Weber on March 15th, 1951 and they shared their lives together until his passing in 2014. Dorothy and Jerry had 6 children.
Dorothy was an avid gardener, a talented baker, and a creative seamstress and crafter. She shared her hobbies with her grandchildren and there was always something to do at Grandma’s! Dorothy also loved to travel, camp, and explore. She enjoyed the companionship of many beloved pets over the years.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Weber; youngest son, Steven Weber; grandson David Jacobson; her parents, siblings, and other extended family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by her sons Larry (Cynthia) Weber, Gary (Kathy) Weber, and Mike (Carol) Weber; her daughters Lana (Dennis) Prantner, and Judy Jacobson; 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
