Joy Marlene (Springman) Fraki, age 85, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at home in the loving arms of her family.
Joy was born on November 17, 1937, in North Liberty, IN to Mary and Charles Springman. She graduated from North Liberty School. In 1956 Joy and Lawrence were married and blessed with 5 children.
Joy loved her family and enjoyed golfing, cooking, and traveling.
Joy is survived by her husband, Lawrence; children, Deborah Swarthout, Jeff (Stephanie) Fraki, Nancy (David) Lexvold, Susan (Kevin) Nelson, and Michelle Wiskow; 11 grandchildren, Sarah (Andrew), Patricia, Matthew, Terry (Ginger), Angela, Andrew, Amy (Michael), Megan, Adam, Ryan, and Jacob; and 4 great grandchildren, Jackson, Kaylee, Sullivan, and Sawyer.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; and 1 grandchild.
A private memorial service will be held at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Pine Island.
Family request memorials be given in Joy’s name to St. Croix Hospice.
