Lee R. Peterson

Lee R Peterson 85, of Rochester, MN passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023

Lee was born November 2, 1937, to Roy & Violett Peterson in Chicago, IL. He grew up on Lake Minnetonka before his family moved in the early 1950’s to southern California. After school, he worked with an electrician, then as a salesman at the family clothing store in Calimesa, CA

He married Annabelle McCaskey November 1961, later divorced. They lived in San Bernardino, CA, where they raised 1 daughter, then later retired to Morenci, MI. Lee enjoyed boating at local lakes and camping trips to the Colorado River. He loved playing cards and passed time by reading auto & RV magazines.

Lee is survived by his daughter, Leanne (Rob) Tumbleson of Mantorville MN; Grandchildren, Amanda (Luke Stewart) of Rochester, Troy Tumbleson of Kasson Melissa (Taylor) Wait of Kasson; 6 grandchildren; Annabelle and 3 nieces, Pam, Sandy, Debbi & their families. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and his sister & brother-in-law, Florence & Walter Fisher.
