Penny Jo (Seebach) Nelson, 73, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Cottagewood Senior Communities from complications of Alzheimer’s.
Penny was born on May 3, 1949 to Fred and Ethel (Goetting) Seebach in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis. She lived in Roseville, MN and moved to Zumbrota, MN after retirement. Penny was a Pipefitter for Gas Trouble Dept Northern States Power.
Penny loved all animals and her pets. She was a member of YWCA and Big Sisters.
Penny is survived by her son, Jeffrey David (Suzanne) Nelson of Wabasha, MN; 2 grandchildren, Benjamin Nelson and Emily Patten of Wabasha, MN; and brother, George Seebach of Twin Cities, MN.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for summer.
