Janice Bennett of Rochester MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 15, 2025 at her home. She was born September 17, 1934 to Glen and Thelma Ridenour and was one of three children. She graduated from LeRoy-Ostrander High School and Rochester Junior College.
She worked her entire career at IBM in Rochester.
On December 1, 1963, she married Richard Bennett. They had 2 children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Lou and Russ Robb, brother Ron Ridenour, and sister-in-law Julie Nelsen.
Janice is survived by her husband, Richard Bennett, daughters Jodi (David) Hruska, and Jennifer (Doug) Zmolek; grandchildren Riese Zmolek, Courtney (Grant) Coleman, Will (Kate) Zmolek, Alexa Hruska, Bennett Zmolek, Sam Hruska, and Ella Zmolek. Many special nieces and nephews. Spending time with family was one of her greatest joys, whether watching the numerous sporting events, making jam, and the holidays. She enjoyed her many trips to the cabin and Florida.
